Large size, small subapical tooth of claw, in dorsal view long and narrow valvula 3, and broad lamnium (lamnium 2.3–3.0 times as long as height of basalmost annulus) separates the females from the other Euura . Males are also large and have a small subapical tooth, and in combination with colouration can be distinguished from each other and the other Euura . Two species in the West Palaearctic.
