Pteronidea vastatrix Zhelochovtsev, 1935: 153 . Syntypes ♀ ♂ (BMNH, NHRS, ZMMU?).

Diagnosis

The only species in the group that has a pale pterostigma instead of black or dark brown. In addition, males and females have an entirely black thorax (except tegula and pronotum) and abdomen dorsally black, head somewhat or extensively pale around eyes, and metafemur completely pale.
