Geographic & bathymetric distribution. Western Atlantic Ocean: from USA (Oregon) to Brazil (Pernambuco); Eastern Atlantic Ocean, Indo-Pacific Oceans ; 550–5900 m depth ( Alves-Junior et al. 2019).

Remarks. Records for Venezuela: La Tortuga and La Orchila Islands ( Judkins 2014).
