12. Micrura albifrons View in CoL

Description. Body 18 to 35 mm long and about 1 mm wide. Head, in area of lateral slits, slightly widened. Body brick in colour, with brownish or cherry tint. Ventrally only sometimes lighter than dorsal surface, but always coloured. Anterior end of head and edges of lateral slits white; tail transparent. Dorsally with about 16 narrow stripes, wider in middle, tapering to body edges. At cephalic tip, 5–6 black eyes clearly visible against background, located in two lateral groups.
Localities. Sublittoral, silt, ca. 16–18 m depth (Annex Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 , IV) . Cabrette, sand with coralines, depth ca. 40 m.
