14. roseocephalum Yamaoka, 1947

Source. As the binomen Prostoma roseocephalum submitted by Okuda in Okada et al. (1947: 1469, fig. 4141 [1–4]), with Yamaoka attributed as the naming authority.

Type locality. Under stones and among algal holdfasta; Shimoda, Japan .

Etymology. Adjective, from roseus (“rosy”) and -cephalus (“headed”), indicating the reddish cephalic patch.

Remarks. Now Tetrastemma roseocephalum ( Yamaoka, 1947) ( Crandall et al. 2001) . Tetrastemma yamaokai Iwata, 1954 is its junior synonym ( Kajihara 2017).
