Distribution in Iran. Ardabil ( Modarres Awal 1987), East Azarbaijan ( Modarres Awal 1997a; Sadaghian et al. 2002; Khaghaninia et al. 2010b), Kermanshah, Tehran ( Brown 1966), Mazandaran ( Wagner 1968). General distribution. Ponto-Mediterranean, doubful in Iran (more probably the data are R. sanguineus ).
