Material examined. INDIA (new record): Gujarat: 4♂, 7♀, Waghai, 18.i.1981, C.A. Viraktamath ( UASB) . NEPAL (new record): 1♀, Birganj, Lothar , 450ft, 3.ix.1967, Can. Nepal Exped ( CNC) .

Remarks. This species, originally described from Taiwan, externally resembles P. maculiceps and to differentiate the two species, see Remarks under that species.
