Little is known about the pelvis in the three species of Anomochilus [ Anomochilus leonardi Smith, 1940 , Anomochilus monticola Das, Lakim, Lim & Hui, 2008 and Anomochilus weberi (Lidth de Jeude, 1890) ], which are represented by only a handful of specimens in museum collections ( Cundall et al., 1993; Das et al., 2008). Cundall et al. (1993) mentioned the presence of a pelvis in both Anomochilus leonardi and Anomochilus monticola but did not provide any details about its morphology. The original description of the type specimen of Anomochilus leonardi Smith, 1940 , which is a female, mentions a radiograph in which no pelvic bones or femur are visible. Das et al. (2008) provide a radiograph of the type specimen of Anomochilus monticola that shows the presence of a pelvic girdle. A large anteriorly directed pelvic element and a femur can be identified in this radiograph, but unfortunately the quality of the image is insufficient to allow identification of any smaller ventral or dorsal elements. No further details on the anatomy of the pelvis are given by Das et al. (2008).
