Bisigilla Skorikov, 1927 (as subgenus of Myrmilla Wesmael, 1851 ). Ezheg. Zool. Mus. Akad. Nauk SSSR 28(1): 35. Female, male.
Gender. Feminine.
Type species. Mutilla bipunctata Latreille, 1792 (female), by subsequent designation of Invrea, 1964: 71.
Taxonomic history. Junior subjective synonym of Blakeius Ashmead, 1903 according to Brothers, 1975: 591 because the type species are subjective synonyms according to Morawitz, 1865: 125. Subjec- tively invalid name.
Sex association. The male of the type species was associated and identified (as Mutilla angusticollis Spinola, 1843: 132) by Sichel & Radoszkowski, 1870: 220.
Distribution. Palaearctic.
