Type species. Chasquitilla malincha Casal, 1970 (female), by original designation.

Taxonomic history. Junior subjective synonym of Nanotopsis Schuster, 1949 (male) according to Cambra & Quintero, 1992: 473. Subjectively invalid name.

Sex association. The male of the type species has not been recognized.

Distribution. Neotropical.
