Type species. Ephuta (Arcasina) chendisa Nagy, 1970 (male), by original designation.
Taxonomic history. Junior subjective synonym of Ephutopsis Ashmead, 1904 according to Cambra & Quintero, 1992: 463. Subjectively invalid name.
Sex association. The female of the type species has not been recognized.
Distribution. Neotropical.
