Inflatispidia Nonveiller, 1995a (as subgenus of Trogaspidia Ashmead, 1899 ). Ann. Soc. Ent. Fr. (N.S.) 31(4): 353 (in key); 355 (description). Male,?female.

Gender. Feminine.

Type species. Mutilla truncativentris André, 1896 (male), by original designation.

Taxonomic history. Valid subgeneric name.

Sex association. The female of the type species has not been recognized; both sexes were indicated as known for another species by Nonveiller, 1995a: 355, but no female appears to have been described.

Distribution. Afrotropical.
