Gender. Feminine.

Type species. Smicromyrme fukudai Tsuneki, 1972 (male), by original designation.

Taxonomic history. Valid generic name.

Sex association. The female of the type species was associated and identified (as Trogaspidia fukudai Tsuneki, 1972: 14 ) by Lelej & Yamane, 1992: 630.

Distribution. Oriental.
