Type species. Trogaspidia (Sylvotilla) globithorax Olsoufieff, 1938 (female), by original designation. Taxonomic history. Raised to generic level by Lelej, 2007: 91. Valid generic name.
Sex association. The male has not been recognized.
Distribution. Afrotropical.
