Gender. Feminine.

Type species. Mutilla gutrunae Zavattari, 1913 (male), by original designation.

Taxonomic history. Raised to generic status by Lelej, 1996b: 8. Valid generic name.

Sex association. The female has not been recognized.

Distribution. Oriental.
