Remarks. This genus consists of four species from Philippines: Diotarus verrucifer Stål, 1877 , endemic to Mindanao, D. galeatus Bolívar, 1887 , endemic to Luzon (Angat and Norzagaray), D. ikonnikovi Bey-Bienko, 1935 , also endemic to Luzon (Los Baños), and D. pupus Bolívar, 1887 , known from Luzon (Camarines Sur) ( Stål, 1877; Bolívar, 1887; Bey-Bienko, 1935; Mohagan et al., 2020).
