Material examined. Philippines: Mindanao Island, Cotabato Province, Apo Mt. , 7.03°N, 125.22°E, h= 1350 m, 26– 30.01.2024, 1 ♀, leg. M.M. Omelko ( FSCB) GoogleMaps .
Distribution. This species was known from the following localities in Mindanao Island: Zamboanga, Iligan City, Marilog Forest Reserve, Davao City ( Mohagan et al., 2020). Here Diotarus verrucifer is recorded from a new locality situated not far from Davao.
