Material examined. Philippines: Mindanao Island , Mount Kitanglad Range Natural Park, 8.18° N, 124.94° E, h= 1400 m, 5.02.2024, 2♂, 2♀, leg. M.M. Omelko ( FSCB) GoogleMaps .
Distribution. This species is widely distributed in India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, and Papua New Guinea ( Bolívar, 1887; Blackith & Blackith, 1987; Bhaskar et al., 2019; Tumbrinck, 2019; Cigliano et al., 2025). Here E. personatus is recorded from Mindanao Island for the first time.
