Material. Philippines: N Palawan, env. of Taytay (E cost), 25– 26.02.2004, 1♀, 2♂, leg. A.V. Gorochov ; S Palawan, env. of Brooke’s Point (E cost), 6– 8.03.2004, 5♀, 6♂, leg. A.V. Gorochov ( ZIN) .
Distribution. This species was known from Binaluan in the north part of the Palawan Island ( Günther, 1938). Here S. boettcheri is firstly recorded from the southern part of this island.
