Material examined. Holotype — ♂, Philippines: Mindanao Island , Mount Kitanglad Range Natural Park, 8.18° N, 124.94° E, h= 1400 m, 15.02.2024, leg. M.M. Omelko ( ZIN) GoogleMaps . Paratype: 1 ♀, the same locality and collector as for holotype but 13.02.2024 ( ZIN) GoogleMaps .

Diagnosis. The differences of a new species from other congeners are given in a key above.

Description. Male (holotype). Body of moderate size for genus, slender. Antennae 14-segmented; length of antenna 1.3 times as long as fore femur; mid segments of antennae 7.5–7.8 times as long as wide. Antennal grooves situated at the level of the upper margin of eyes. Fastigium of vertex forming the relatively short triangular rostrum directed forwards; rostrum 1.1 times shorter than the horizontal diameter of one eye seen from lateral view; fastigium between eyes almost as wide as one eye seen from dorsal view; median carina of fastigium absent; supraocular lobes small; in dorsal view rostrum narrowly triangular with truncate apex. Frontal ridge in lateral view almost straight between eyes; apex of ridge directed gently upward; lateral carinae of the frontal ridge in frontal view almost parallel; width of first antennal segment 1.3 times as wide as frontal ridge between antennae. Pronotum in dorsal view with straight anterior margin; posterior process of pronotum far surpass the apex of hind femora. Median carina of pronotum in lateral view low, straight; lateral carinae in prozona distinct, straight; prozona subsquare; humero-apical carinae distinct; external lateral carinae almost straight; extralateral carinae reaching apex of pronotum; interhumeral carinae distinct. Posterior margin of the lateral lobe of the pronotum with tegminal (upper) sinus as broad as ventral sinus; lower side of lateral lobes in dorsal view gently directed outwards, broadly rounded. Visible part of tegmen 3.0 times as long as wide and almost as wide as maximal width of mid femora. Hindwing long, surpass the apex of the posterior process of pronotum for 0.2 mm. Fore and mid femora with straight upper and lower margins, 4.7–4.9 times as long as wide. Hind femur 3.3 times as long as wide, with gently dentate upper and lower carinae. Dorsal side of hind tibia with 6 outer and 5 inner spines and numerous denticles between them. First tarsal segment of hind legs as long as 3rd segment (without claws), ventrally with 3 pulvilli almost equal in length. Subgenital plate in lateral view elongated; in dorsal view plate 2 times as long as wide, apex of plate with narrow excision. Cerci conical, 1.7 times as long as wide near the base.

Female (paratype). Similar to male but apical segments of antennae and both hind legs missing. Rostrum 1.1 times shorter than the horizontal diameter of one eye seen from lateral view; fastigium between eyes 1.15 times as wide as one eye seen from dorsal view; width of first antennal segment 1.4 times as wide as frontal ridge between antennae. Visible part of tegmen 2.8 times as long as wide. Hindwings surpass the apex of the posterior process of pronotum on 1.3 mm. Fore femur 4.4 times, mid femur 4.6 times as long as wide. Epiproct narrowly triangular with pointed apex. Subgenital plate 1.1 times as long as wide, posterior margin triangle. Cerci conical, 1.6 times as long as wide. Valves of ovipositor narrow; upper valve dorsally and lower valve ventrally with row of teeth and armed by long setae; upper valve 3.7 times, lower valve 5.2 times as long as its maximum width.

General coloration of the male and female body blackish-brown. Eyes light brown; face in frontal view brown with blackish marks, black rostrum and lower part of the labrum; antennae black with narrow light rings at apices of antennomeres. Dorsal side of pronotum blackish; lateral lobes of pronotum brown with blackish marks. Visible part of tegmen black with light crossveins. Hindwings black with light spots. Fore and mid femora brown; hind femur with black marks. Hind tibia black.Abdomen blackish brown; female subgenital plate and ovipositor blackish brown.

Measurements (in mm). Length of body (from frontal ridge to apex of subgenital plate) male 10.8, female 11.9; pronotum male 13.2, female 13.1; antenna male 2.8; tegmen male 1.2, female 1.7; fore femur male 2.1, female 2.2; mid femur male 2.3, female 2.3; hind femur male 5.9; ovipositor 1.4.

Distribution. Philippines: Mindanao Island.
