Rhizome thick; stem 30-50 cm, erect, with small leaves. Basal leaves large, lyrate; terminal leaflet 10-15 cm, cordate-reniform. Inflorescence 3- to 7-flowered; flowers c. 25 mm in diameter, nodding, campanulate. Calyx light green; petals triangular, emarginate, whitish to pale yellow. Achenes numerous; styles 10-15 mm. In = 56. • Mountains o f S. Jugoslavia, Albania and S. W. Bulgaria. Al Bu Ju.
