Sparsely pubescent perennial up to 40(-60) cm. Leaflets 5-12(-20) pairs, 6—15(—25) x 1-5—3(—4) mm, oblong or elliptical. Calyx usually sparsely pubescent, the teeth 2-3(-4) times as long as tube; corolla 7-10 mm, pink, or white with pink veins, the standard distinctly longer than keel. Legume 4 -5 mm, villous; sides toothed; margin with 3-4 teeth up to 2 mm. 2/7=14. S.W. Europe from E. Spain to N.W. Italy; Calabria. Ga Hs It.
