Leaflets 5-12 pairs, 10-30 x l-5-4(-8) mm; calyx 4-7 mm, the teeth 1 -5-2- 5 times as long as tube, sparsely pubescent; corolla 8-10 mm; legume 4-6 mm, the margin with 4-6 teeth (0-5-2 mm). 2n = 14, 28. C. & E. Europe, extending westwards to C. France and southwards to C. Italy.
