Petals greenish-white. Bracteoles about half as long as pedicels. Fruit 5-6 x 3-5-4-5 mm, more elliptical than in (a); dorsal ribs not prominent, obtuse. Odour pungent. 2« = 22. N. Europe, usually on sea-shores.
