Erect, glabrous perennial up to 250 cm. Leaves triangularovate in outline; lobes setaceous. Bracts and bracteoles lanceolate to linear, often caducous when fully mature. Fruit 9-12 x 5 mm, broadly ovate-lanceolate with narrow lateral wings and filiform dorsal ridges. Damp, shady places. Karpathos. Cr. (5. & W. Anatolia).
