Distribution: A new record for Kalimantan. Originally described from Indonesia by Krieger (1932) based on collections taken from the islands of Sumatra and Java. This species also occured in Brazil, Mali, Bangladesh, India and Australia and Tchad ( Compère 1970); indicating a tropical distribution.
