Ecualeon ovispargus Stange, 1994: 95 View in CoL (type locality: Ecuador, El Oro,
7 km. south of Piñas ; holotype in FSCA) ( Fig. 4 View Figure 4 ). Stange, 2004: 252 ( Ecualeon View in CoL ) .
Diagnosis. Body generally dark brown with some pale yellowish markings. Diameter of eye smaller than frons. Pronotum medially with a longitudinal pale yellowish line, laterally with four pairs of pale yellowish spots. Mesonotum with a pair of pale yellowish spots. Forewing redial and cubital area with some dark brown spots. Abdomen dark brown with some pale yellowish spots.
Type material. Holotype: ♂, ECUADOR: El Oro Province, 7 km S Piñas ; 7.vii.1989; R. Miller & L. Stange ( FSCA). In great condition, left antenna missing.
