Remarks. Diaparsis vulgaris is an abundant
South African species which differs from its Afrotropical congeners by the combination of long ovipositor, finely and sparsely punctate mesopleuron and dorsolateral area of propodeum, broad clypeus, and clavate antennal flagellum of female, comprising 20–23 flagellomeres.
