World distribution: United States south to Costa Rica [not India] ( Banks 1914c: 149; Walker 1853: 388; Oswald 2024a).
Note: Singh et al. (2020: 505) included this species in a list of Neuroptera from Tamil Nadu. This species, however, is endemic to southern North America. We exclude this species from the Indian fauna as a lapsus or misidentification.
