Records from Turkey: Erzurum Province ( Oezkan 1982; “ Thyopsis oezkani ” Bader 1983; Oezkan & Bader 1988).
Remarks: Thyopsis rothae differs from T. cancellata in smaller Ac (diameter <40 µm) ( Gerecke & Schwoerbel 1992b).
Habitat: Springs, small streams.
Distribution: Turkey.
