Orybina flaviplaga kiangsualis Caradja, 1925: 327 View in CoL ; Caradja & Meyrick, 1935: 32; Lu & Guan, 1953: 114. Type locality: China ( Jiangsu).
Distribution. China ( Henan, Jiangsu, Jiangxi, Guangdong, Hunan, Guangxi, Sichuan, Zhejiang).
Remarks. Caradja (1925) described this subspecies from Jiangsu Province, China. We are unable to collect this subspecies during our study. However , we checked the adult photo of its paratype taken by Dr. David Lees ( Curator for Microlepidoptera, the Natural History Museum, London). Due to the genitalia of this subspecies is not available, we tentatively accept it as a valid subspecies.
