Current status. Cupido lacturnus polysperchinus ( Kheil, 1884) , subspecies of Cupido lacturnus (Godart, [1824]) .
Distribution. Cupido lacturnus is widely distributed in the Oriental Region, Australia and also in southern Japan. Subspecies C. l. polysperchinus is hitherto known only from Nias.
Remarks. We accept subspecies status for the taxon C. l. polysperchinus according to BECCALONl et al. (2003), but in generic combination in Cupido Schrank, 1801 ( SAVELLA 2024, Z. Fric, pers. comm.).
