Notes:— This name is recombined based on the phylogenetic and morphological evidence of its holotype (MICH12031-Smith55708, from USA, sequence data available from MW412407 (ITS, direct submission by Gordon), referred to Smith (1972)), recognized in the Candolleomyces candolleanus complex ( Fig. 4B ).
