(1.3) Cantonopsathyra trechispora (Petch) Kun L. Yang, Jia Y. Lin & Zhu L. Yang , comb. nov.
Registration identifier:— FN572408
Basionym:— Psathyra trechispora Petch, Annals of the Royal Botanic Gardens Peradeniya 6(3): 203 (1917) (≡ Psathyrella trechispora (Petch) Pegler, Kew Bulletin, S12: 388 (1986))
Notes:— This species is described from Sri Lanka, recombined into Cantonopsathyra due to its morphological similarity with Cn. serendipita ( Pegler 1986, Pegler & Young 1992). However, this species still differs from Cn. serendipita by larger basidiomata, larger basidiospores, shorter and narrower basidia, shorter cheilocystidia, and the absence of pleurocystidia.
This species currently has no available sequence data.
