Distribution: Holarctic; Sweden, Finland, NW Russia (Karelia).
Remark: The single specimen of this species (ZMBN, Hym. 5629) was misidentified by R. Jussila as Blapticus (=Gnathochorisis) flavipes Förster, 1871 ( Jussila 1973), so the species should be excluded from the list of Norwegian Ichneumonidae , while E. bispinosa is reported here for the first time from Norway.
