Distribution: Palaearctic; Sweden, Finland, NW Russia (Karelia).

Remark: Previous record of this species ( Strand 1913) is referred to the erroneously identified Hemiphanes erratum Humala, 2007 already recorded from Norway ( Hansen et al. 2010).
