Material examined. No specimen has been obtained by the authors.
Host plant. Unknown.
Distribution. China (Gansu Province).
Remarks. P. niger Meng, Gnezdilov & Wang, 2015 differs from other species of genus Peltonotellus by the following characteristics: 1) body mainly black; 2) the apex of the aedeagus only reaches half of phallobase; aedeagus with a long slender process pointing to the base near the right side, in ventral view with a transverse short process anteriorly.
