Augilodes Fennah, 1963: 728 ; Wang, Chou & Yuan, 2002: 93; Chen, Zhang & Chang, 2014: 166; Zhang et al., 2020: 143. Type species. Augila binghami Distant, 1906 , by original designation.

Host plant. Bamboo.

Distribution. Southwestern China (Yunnan Province).

Note. There are currently two species of this genus recorded in China, and two species are described in this paper.

Fennah (1963) followed the classification system of Muir (1930) and established the genus Augilodes , which was placed in the family Lophopidae . Fennah (1987) revised the taxonomic status of the genus by again studying genital features and hind tarsal features, revised the taxonomic status of the genus, and moved it to the subfamily Caliscelinae of the family Issidae . Wang, Chou & Yuan (2002) reported a species of this genus distributed in Yunnan Province, China.
