Supplementary description. Measurements. Body length including forewing: female 8.6–8.9 mm (N = 3); forewing length: female ♀ 6.6–6.9 mm (N = 3).

Female genitalia. Anal segment rather short and small, in dorsal view with length 0.8 times longer in middle line than widest part, widest part located at 1/3, apical margin concave; anal pore located at apex; in lateral view small. Abdominal sternite VII large, in ventral view with width 1.7 times as long as length, posterior margin slightly concave in the middle, behind the posterior margin with a small triangular ossification flake. Gonapophysis VIII elongate, with five spines at apical margin. Gonapophysis IX with two symmetrical lobes, each lobe with 12 large spines at dorsal margin. Gonoplac with outer surface shagreen; in lateral view broad, nearly triangle, dorsal margin deeply concave.

Host plant. Bamboo.

Distribution. Southwestern China (Yunnan Province), Burma.

Material examined. 10♂♂ 23♀♀, China: Yunnan Province, Jinghong City, Wensa Hot Springs , 2019-VI-18, Hong-Xing Li, Nian Gong, Feng-E Li and Shi-Yan Xu ; 1♂, China: Yunnan Province, Yingjiang County Wetland Park, 2018-VIII-21, Nian Gong .

Remarks. Augilodes binghami ( Distant, 1906) differs from other species of genus Augilodes by the following characteristics: 1) body mainly black; 2) antennae second segment almost cylindrical; 3) pronotum with lateral domain distinctly narrow, anterior margin strongly convex between eyes, lateral carinae not reaching posterior margin, slightly keeled.
