Material examined. No specimen has been obtained by the authors.
Host plant. Bamboo ( Figure 30C View FIGURE 30 ).
Distribution. China (Guangxi, Anhui, Zhejiang, Hunan Provinces).
Remarks. C. chinensis Melichar, 1906 is closely related to C. orientalis Ouchi, 1940 , but differs in: 1) fore femora and tibia foliately dilated (fore femora and tibia slightly flattened in C. orientalis ); 2) mesonotum with lateral carinae sloping outward (lateral carinae subparallel in C. orientalis ); 3) terga with a yellow broad longitudinal stripe from posterior margin of forewing to tip of abdomen (without longitudinal stripe in C. orientalis ).
