Bambusicaliscelis fanjingensis Zhang & Chen, 2011: 99 ; Chen, Zhang & Chang, 2014: 157.

Supplementary description. Measurements. Body length (from apex of vertex to tip of abdomen): female 4.2–4.5 mm (N = 3); forewing length: female 1.5–1.8 mm (N = 3).

Female genitalia. Anal segment in dorsal view with length as long as widest part, apex narrowed; anal pore located distal half; in lateral view small, elongated. Abdominal sternite VII in ventral view with width 3.9 times as long as length, posterior margin strongly concave, with two slightly convex in the middle; behind the posterior margin with two small triangular ossification flakes. Gonapophysis VIII elongate, with four spines at apical margin. Gonapophysis IX with two symmetrical lobes, each lobe nearly rectangle with many spines at dorsal margin, ventral margin slightly concave. Gonoplac with outer surface shagreen; in lateral view broad, nearly triangle.

Host Plant. Bamboo [ Sinarundinaria complanate (Yi) K. M. Lan ] ( Figure 17C ).

Distribution. Southwestern China (Guizhou Province).

Material examined. 5♂♂ 3♀♀, China: Guizhou Province: Fanjingshan National Nature Reserve: Jinding , 2200 m, 2002-V-31, Xiang-Sheng Chen ; 2♂♂ 9♀♀, China: Guizhou Province: Fanjingshan National Nature Reserve , 2012-VI-1, Jian-Kun Long ; 8♂♂ 10♀♀, China: Guizhou Province, Weiling County, Xueshan Town , 2016-VII-12, Nian Gong, Liang-Jin Yang and Yong-Shun Ding .

Remarks. B. fanjingensis Chen & Zhang, 2011 differs from other species of genus Bambusicaliscelis by the following characteristics: 1) posterior margin of pygofer with only a slightly medioventral process; 2) genital style in ventral view long, knife shaped; 3) anal segment in lateral view with posterior and ventral margins of apical half nearly straight, in dorsal view two lateral margins subparallel, slightly wider at one third from base.
