Type species. Bambusicaliscelis fanjingensis View in CoL , by original designation.

Supplementary description. Female genitalia. Anal segment short and small, in dorsal view the length as long as widest part. Abdominal sternite VII transversely broad, sometimes behind the posterior margin with two small ossification flakes. Gonapophysis VIII with four to six spines at apical margin. Gonapophysis IX with two symmetrical lobes, each lobe nearly rectangle with many spines at dorsal margin. Gonoplac nearly triangle.

Host plant. Bamboo.

Distribution. China (Guizhou, Yunnan, Fujian, Jiangxi, Guangxi Provinces).
