Cylindratus longicephalus Zhang et al., 2020: 123 .
Description. Measurements. Body length (from apex of vertex to tip of abdomen): male 5–5.2 mm (N = 2), female 5.9–6.1 mm (N = 2); forewing length: male 1.8–1.9 mm (N = 2), female 2–2.1 mm (N = 2).
Coloration. Male: General coloration yellowish brown to blackish brown. Head, thorax, and abdomen with broad pale central longitudinal stripe dorsally. Frons brown, median carina slightly red, the small tubercules yellowish brown. Clypeus brown. Eyes grey brown. Legs yellowish brown. Forewing brown. Abdominal tergites blackish brown, except central longitudinal stripe yellowish white, ventral areas yellowish brown. Female: General color light yellowish brown with somewhat green. Eyes grey brown. Forewing brown with somewhat red.
Head and thorax. Vertex with anterior margin strongly convex, longer in middle line than broad at base (1.2:1), and longer in middle line than pronotum (2.3:1). Frons 1.6 times longer in middle line than widest part. Clypeus with median carina distinct. Mesonotum 0.5 times as long as vertex and pronotum together in middle line.
Male genitalia. Anal segment in dorsal view with length 0.9 times longer in middle line than widest part, narrowing apically, basal margin straight, apical margin rounded; in lateral view, broadest near the middle and tapering toward apex, ventral margin straight. Pygofer in lateral view with dorsal margin distinctly shorter than ventral margin, posterior margin concave in the middle; in posterior view with length 1.7 times as long as widest part; in ventral view with posterior margin straight, anterior margin roundly convex. Genital style in lateral view broad, large, a strong spine-like process arising from dorsal margin apically, directed dorsad, slightly curved, tapering apically; in ventral view long and narrow, with apex hooklike. Aedeagus short, tubular, in lateral view with ventral margin roundly convex in the middle, apical margin triangularly convex; in dorsal view with proximal part bulge outward distinctly.
Female genitalia. Anal segment in dorsal view with length 0.9 times longer in middle line than widest part, narrowing apically, apical margin slightly rounded; in lateral view, small, narrowing apically. Abdominal sternite VII in ventral view with posterior margin sinuate, with width 4.2 times as long as middle line. Gonapophysis VIII (first valvula) elongate, with six spines at apical margin. Gonapophysis IX (second valvula) with two symmetrical lobes, each lobe with many spines at dorsal margin, dorsal margin with an indent. Gonoplac (third valvula) broad, quadrilateral.
Host plant. Bamboo ( Chimonobambusa angustifolia C. D. Chu & C. S. Chao ) ( Chen & Yang, 2023) ( Figure 4C View FIGURE 4 ).
Distribution. Southwestern China (Guizhou Province).
Material examined. 2♂♂ 1♀, China: Guizhou Province, Leishan County, Leigong Mountain , 2011-VII-17, Xiang-Sheng Chen ; 8♂♂ 11♀♀, China: Guizhou Province, Leishan County, Leigong Mountain , 2019-VIII-23, Qiang Luo, Liang-Jing Yang and Ya-Lin Yao .
