Bambusicaliscelis flavus Gong, Yang & Chen, 2018a: 84 .

Supplementary description. Female genitalia. Anal segment in dorsal view with length 0.9 times longer in middle line than widest part, apex narrowed, apical margins arc convex; anal pore located distal half; in lateral view small, narrowing apically. Abdominal sternite VII in ventral view with width 2.4 times as long as length, posterior margin sinuated. Gonapophysis VIII elongate, with four spines at apical margin. Gonapophysis IX with two symmetrical lobes, each lobe nearly rectangle with many spines at dorsal margin. Gonoplac with outer surface shagreen; in lateral view broad, nearly triangle.

Host plant. Bamboo.

Distribution. China (Yunnan Province).

Material examined. 2♂♂ 1♀, China: Yunnan Province, Lushui County, Pianma Town (26°10’N, 98°38’E), 2008-VIII-17, Xiang-Sheng Chen ; 3♂♂ 5♀♀, China: Yunnan Province, Lushui County, Pianma Town (26°10’N, 98°38’E), 2018-VII-23, Nian Gong, Qiang Luo and Yong-Jin Sui .

Remarks. B. flavus Gong, Yang & Chen, 2018 is similar to B. fanjingensis Chen & Zhang, 2011 , but differs in: 1) forewing yellow (dark brown in B. fanjingensis ); 2) pygofer in posterior view, ventral margin without medioventral process (with a medioventral process in B. fanjingensis ); 3) pygofer in lateral view with dorsal margin roundly convex and posterior margin sinuate (dorsal and posterior margin concave at middle in B. fanjingensis ).
