Type species. Symplana viridinervis Kirby, 1891 , by original designation.

Host plant. Bamboo. Distribution. China (Guizhou, Yunnan, Guangxi, Fujian and Guangdong Provinces) .

Note. There are currently three species of this genus recorded in China, and three species are described in this article.
