The single Taiwanese sample of P. kamoharai included in this analysis grouped with the Taiwan sub-cluster highlighted in Naylor et al. (2012a). This sub-cluster was found to be slightly divergent from a Hawaiian subcluster. These sub-clusters represent only the western North Pacific and Central Pacific populations of this species ( Figure 6).
