Nannodastiidae View in CoL and Xenasteiidae : collection, processing and identification
Sampling with a sweep net was repeated four times at each surveyed site over the four seasons. specimens, including both Nannodastiidae and Xenasteiidae , were preserved in 96% alcohol. Identification Nannodastiidae was based on both external morphology and male genitalia, which were macerated in potassium hydroxide (KOH) solution for 2 h, rinsed in water, and neutralised with a drop of acetic terminalia were then transferred to glycerine for preservation. Species were identified using the taxonomic modified after Papp and Mathis (2001). In contrast, Xenasteiidae identification was based on external phology, following the diagnostic characteristics described by Ventura and Carles-Tolrá (2002).
