Calling song

Composed of a brief echemmes. Each echemme lasted about 0.05 ± 0.001 (0.052 –0.053) seconds, with 9.5 ± 0.7 (9–10) syllables. The peak frequency is 11.75 ± 0.07 (11.7–11.8) kHz, with a bandwidth of 4.3 ± 0.28 (4.1–4.5) kHz.

Collection site

Parque Natural Municipal Saint–Hilaire. The males were recorded and collected on March 31, 2022, at 11 pm, with a temperature of 19°C. The males sing in canopy regions, above 3 metres in height. The signal is produced between 10 pm and 3 am ( Figures 11E View Figure 11 and 12E View Figure 12 ).

Remarks

We are expecting future studies to confirm the identification at species level.
