The specimen designated as lectotype is the best one and consists of three branches with buds and some flowers ( Fig. 19 A View FIGURE 19 ) that properly characterize the species. Furthermore, there are three berries enclosed by the accrescent calyx that appear to be subglobose but they are actually pyriform ( Fig. 19 E View FIGURE 19 ).
