Report associated with sponges: This species was reported from Near Icy Cape , Alaska among sand, sponges, and bryozoans at depth of 76.2 m ( 250 feet) ( Newell 1951b) .

Remarks: This species was also found in sand and gravels from Alaska ( Newell 1951b).
